Kalinadu is a non-profit digital platform dedicated to connecting passionate and educated volunteers with Kannada-medium government schools to support the education of students from the most economically weaker sections of society.​

 

With a vision to leave no child behind in both academic and extracurricular activities, Kalinadu aims to leverage the time, expertise, and service of skilled individuals, willing to commit a few hours of their time each week to teach and guide students.​

 

Children studying in government schools often come from the most economically disadvantaged sections of society. Knowledge and education are the only tools that can help them climb the ladder of societal success.​

 

This platform is built on the noble belief that children in government schools are not a burden to society but the true assets and future of our nation.​

 

The platform was conceptualised and designed with the idea that our great cities are home to thousands of Kannada and non-Kannada retired teachers, officials, educated homemakers, and technology professionals who are eager to teach and share their expertise to children as an act of service to God, society and humanity.​

 

Hence, this platform will proactively conduct awareness programmes and mass social media campaigns, requesting capable and willing volunteers to dedicate a few hours of their valuable time to teach children in a focused manner, ensuring that no child is left behind in both academic curriculum and extracurricular activities.
